Mike Mattos has successfully used the Professional Learning Communities at Work™ model to transform schools. He is former principal of both Marjorie Veeh Elementary School and Pioneer Middle School in Tustin, California. At these schools, Mike helped create powerful PLCs, sustaining a collaborative environment among his staffs and improving learning for all students. Mike’s vision unites teachers, counselors, and administrators in a common goal—to educate all students. For his leadership, Mike was named the Orange County Middle School Administrator of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators.
